Buying a house, Return of the Gravity Girl and an Ant.

Hey guys! Been a while since I've been on here, and I swear that I am going to be on here more often as soon as some of this work gets off my shoulders. As you can see in the title of this post, we are currently looking into buying a house. This apartment situation is just not what we need as a family. We are living on campus at the University here in Detroit, and well, we are the only family here in student housing. So it is with fire that I am motivated to move onto a better environment. This of course means making enough money to think about purchasing a home. So I've set up a few things to help us out with that.

No fuss digital downloads of our book will help considerably if we can get our titles into the right hands. Our $1.00-2.00 downloads are the easiest way to help out as there is no shipping and no wonder of receiving product. Once you pay, you get an email with a custom download link of your PDF purchase.

So I dug through the archives and brought back the old Gravity Girl from 2003. Sure it's an old issue, and I feel like my work has duplicated itself leaps and bounds, but I feel like it needs to be shared. Sure I need the money, who doesn't. This is a good way to get some extra at only $1 per download. I hope you all dig it, even though it may be different from what you'd normally expect from me. This is after all, my very first try at creating comics.

Next up I am compiling a sketch book to have printed. That would be another way to bring in some funds. I want to make it worth your money though, so this one might take a bit of tweeking.

Wednesday night uStream shows @ 9pm EST. $10 cards, probably going to do all cards that day by starting a little earlier. Each week the goal is 10 or more cards.

Digital Fridays. My more expensive digitally colored art on Fridays makes it possible for this to become a reality MUCH quicker.

I'm going to be putting up more art and originals in the 'Buy Art' section for ready to ship art. I think this is going to be a LOT of my art merchandise, cutting away from commissions that are not of larger sizes.

So if you must know, or you are wondering. We are looking to move into a $40,000 home here in Detroit. University District, and a decent amount of space for us to live like a family again. School is wonderful for Lisa, but living on Campus is surely effecting the kids more than we thought it would. So if you could find it to help out in our quest, please let people know about uStream on Wednesdays, and about the digital comics and prints we/I offer.

I also want to do more art just for me. Things to experiment with on a daily basis. Subjects I wouldn't necessarily illustrate for collectors or fans, but what I dig. So to kick of my dailies, here is today's sketch.

Daily sketches are available for purchase. It's 8 1/2"x11" on Bristol board. These will be $50. If you are interested shoot me an email at Jeremy@crisishour.com

Thanks for reading this winded post, and I'll see you all again really soon!
